Cross Country Move

Hey there!

It’s been a quick minute since my last post! To be honest this year has been pretty hectic. I’ve been doing alot of sessions, and was planning a cross country move. Packing is exhausting y’all. I feel really old when it comes to moving, or should I say really out of shape. I can get in crazy positions, and move like a rabbit for photo sessions; but when it comes to lifting heavy boxes I’m almost dead.

So we are finally in the beautiful sunshine state, Florida. The wonderful military loves to put us on the coasts. But I am not complaining.

Although I do have to say, I hate moving my business. The most challenging thing about owning a business that relies on word of mouth and previous clientele is moving. You literally have to start over. Spend tons of money (that I’m not making ha!) on advertising, offer free sessions, scout out new areas just to get new clients.

Recently I tried the Yelp advertising, ha that was a joke. They were all about telling me well if people call you then they are going to book you. Well I’ve had three people call - NO BOOKINGS, and now I’m out of 95.00. I’m praying that I can find my new clientele here soon. I literally put up an advertisement for free pictures, and I’ve had no hits on it… SEND HELP!

Anyway, we are in Tampa. Send me clients! I’m dying to get behind my camera again.

I love you all tons! And send me the well wishes. If any of you are in Tampa make sure to get in touch with me!

Much Love,

Ash

Happy New Year!

Hello all!! So instead of making a crazy new resolution that I will probably not keep for myself. I made the promise to my business to keep it alive!

A lot has changed since moving my business to California. I came in strong at the beginning of 2018 totaling 50 sessions within the first month - boudoir marathons on the weekends, homecomings during the week, family and maternity sessions in between. Then I got a teaching job with the local district and let my dreams plummet. At the end of 2018 I decided that though I may be a military spouse I will not let my life only be about my husband’s career and take a small side job because it may pay a bit more than my passion. So I put my two weeks in and decided to focus on my family and photography.

So here we go 2019!

2019 holds a lot of changes for my business. I plan on taking on only a couple of genres of photography. I will mainly focus on small intimate weddings, engagements, boudoir, and maternity sessions. I will still continue to offer others but I really love the lovely dovely stuff. Towards May/June timeframe we will be moving out of the state of California - hopefully to Florida. Praying that Florida is our last stop! Pray with me friends.

So with all of this being said, make sure you subscribe to my blog. Stay up date on my specials, and refer me to all of your friends! I will be adding my calendar to my website so you can keep up to date on what’s going on. And I will also be posting a lot more about monthly specials, mini sessions, and where in the world I will be at different times of the year!

Here’s to a great 2019, may it bring you and your family prosperity and may it just be a great freaking year!!

Much Love,

Ashley Davis

New Pricing!

Hey everyone! I have lowered my session prices for multiple sessions. I would love to start booking more clients! As of now, I am booking into June, and I have a couple different specials going on! Right now I am booking 50.00 Mommy and Me sessions, I have 5 spots available for these. And if you book from now to April 15th for a family session they are discounted even more to 125.00!! Why am I doing such a steep discount?! First off I love being behind my camera, and two this gal is trying to pay her way through Dental Assisting school without taking out loans!!
